[quote:a594772731="2CarPro Jack"]Basically, you need to shock the drum off the axle, probably rusted to it[/quote:a594772731]
It really also depends on what axle you have. First you need to find out if the drum is attached outside of the hub or inside. If it is inside of the hub then you need to remove the hub by removing the spring clip and square lock key. Then you need to remove the wheel studs to remove the hub. Make sure that you redue your bearings when you reinstall the hubs. If it is on the outside of the hub then it could be rusted to the hub. Then it needs to be jarred off. Also, sometimes the hubs are worn so that they have a ridge on them and the brakes need to be adjusted by turning the auto adjuster. it is accessed through an access hole on the backside of the brakes, on the bottom of the brake plate. The hole is rectangular in shape and about 1/4 in in width and has a little clip to cover it. Use a flat head screw driver and turn it down ( I Believe) on both sides. That will retract the shoes. Remember that once you redue the brakes it is a good idea to adjust them out until you feel a slight drag. (remember slight drag). It is also a good idea to check your wheel cylinders. Hope this helps
