Power issues 2001 sierra 1500 2wd 4.8l

Any other ideas that i could look at??? ~Scott[/quote:87a3a874c4] I may be having same problem with my 1500 4.3 GMC. I changed plugs and distibuter cap, and plug wires. Engined starts fine and revs fine, when putting it in drive, it has no power to go anywhere, I barely got it home after a test drive. I submited a question and the repy I got was to do an exhaust back pressure test. It may be a cat problem. The driver side manifold is hot after running, the other side is only warm. I take it to a mechanic today. Did your problem get solved?? reply to [email protected]
