funny idle

i have a 95 gmc 1500 serria with a 5.7 V8 and when i give it a little bit of gas once it goes back down to an idle it idles funny and then goes back to a normal idle

Check the IACV and clean the throttle body/plate.

It sounds like you might have a bad throttle position sensor.
