1999 GMC C1500 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i am changing out my tansmission and the is a plug right under my starter and i busted it, and now i have no clue what it is or what to ask for? anybody knows anything bout it will be great info

The only thing I saw close to the starter was the knock sensor?? Is the sensor in the engine block? What color are the wires at the connector?
