how do you disconnect the quick disconect fitting from the clutch & do you have to have the special tool?

otc 7910 ...is the part number for the tool used to dissconect the clutch line from the slave cyl . one end of the tool is for 1996 & newer(ngv3500 trns) the other is for cars (simular to ford disconnect tool)
