I need to know what would cause the EGR valve not to work. The vacuum hoses are all fine, and it's not the actual EGR valve that is the problem. Please help.

The egr valve wont work due to a cracked vaccum line, pluged ports, bad electrical connector.

when you say its not the egr what do you mean?
