Electrical problem
1995 GMC C1500 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

when i crank my truck ,the check guages light comes on and the orange shifting light dissapears.when i start driving it starts in 3rd i have to shift manualy back and forth to drive . i start off in second then shift in 3rd.for a while it would only do it at night or in the morning.When it gets real hot outside,It drives like a new truck the orange light ,the overdrive ,the milage and trip guage starts working again too.It quits working ehen the truck acts up.The speedometer the tack and the trip and milage guage quits working.I was thinking it could be the speed sensor? I would be very happy if you could help or give me some more ideas or info. Thanks,Bobby
