I removed the intake manifold to fix heater line fitting leak without marking distributor placement.
I set #1 piston up on compression stroke, I set on what crank on waht to be appears TDC and installed distributor pointing to #1 tower. first i could not get to fire, finally it runs barely, tired turning distributor no better. someone said i need to unhook a wire some where to computer to set timing. timing light is brke but should be able to get to run good enough to get to garage to set timing. I might be a tooth off but i cant turn oil pump with crew driver or afraid to try, it whould not have change anyway?? what to do

Hi katmandu_1, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation. The wire you suppose to disconnect before checking and setting the ignition timg is the EST wire-see below
