When i started my truck smoke and a burning smell came from under the dash. After examining i found two wire that was touching, tape them up, but now when i turn the ignition to start the truck nothing happen. It don't trun over or nothing. Help!!!

The purple wire at the starter solenoid should be hot with the key in the crank position, if not, check voltage feed to and from the ignition. The two red wires carry voltage to the switch, they should be hot all the time, if not, backtrack the circuit. Thanks for the donation.

Check the ppl wire and it not hot, trace it from the soleniod to the switch and there is not burn wires is there a switch that may have burn out.
