i put new timeing gears in and timed it but now it is running rough and i have also reajusted the lifters

Hi:
First, does the truck have a carb or fuel injection? Next, when you adjusted the valves, did you provide the manufacturer's recommend clearance on the valves? Finally, are all the plug wires in the correct order, and what did you set the timing to?
