Engine Performance problem

I replaced a cracked exhaust manifold some time ago. The truck is running rough. The power drops off and i have to accelerate to compensate. Oil is showing up in the water. It sounds like a blown head gasket but could it be something cheaper like a carberator or intake manifold problem?
