1992 Geo Storm "INFL,REST" light?

What does this light mean?...It's been going off and on for the past two days now and when it does come on for a few seconds my headlights dim and my radio goes out. But when the "INFL,REST" light turns off my car goes back to normal.
I can't really tell if it's affecting my engine but sometimes I do think it may shut off while I'm driving.

I think you may have an alternator problem, do any other lights come on? Like the BAT and BRAKE.
The INFL REST is the air bag system, but the light on the dash may one that comes on when there is a charging failure. Check the charging system first.
