I have a 1995 Geo Prizm LSi I have had this car for years and it has never made this noise, it started a few weeks ago when I would turn to the right I would hear a noise like something rubbing well withing a few days the noise got much louder. I assumed that something was loose around the wheel well but everything is clear nothing is touching. I have had other Prizms in the past that had bearings and cv joints go bad and none of them ever made this noise. This is the only Prizm I have ever had that had anti-loc brakes. This noise is a rubbing sound. Thanks for any help.[img:8a815bc597]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/209768_Picture_166_1.jpg[/img:8a815bc597]

If the CV joints and brakes are OK, then have the ABS system scanned for codes. Could be a wheel sensor. Is your ABS light on?
Also make sure the caliper slide pins are not sticking.

Another thing is you can do is take the car to a brake shop and get a free inspection, they may give you some insight into the problem.

I had a similar problem with my 1994 Prizm -- it turned out that the container for windshield washer fluid had broken off a little and dropped down. It took several stops at several mechanics to figure this out.

Good point, the container can break loose and contact the drive belts, eventually leading to the spilling of all the fluid.
