How do you remove the distributor? I have oil leaking into the distributor cap and I need to change the O-ring in the distributor.

Remove electrical connections, remove cap and note position of rotor (1:00, 4:00 etc). Mark relationship of dist. housing to head. Remove the dist. hold down bolts pull dist. out, replace O ring insert dist in same position as removed (align mark, and rotor).
It is probably best to set base timing, because you will probably be off 1-2 degrees.
