1994 Geo Prizm 4 cyl
Hello! I have a 1994 Geo Prizm which makes a scraping sound, but only when I accelerate. It is coming from the front of the passenger side of the car only. It only makes this sound when I accelerate. I have new brake pads (were put on today) and changed the oil (less than 5 miles on the new batch of oil).
My friend took a look at my car. It sounds like there is squealing under the CV boot. There is a lot of noise coming form the CV joint on the right side. He thought it sounded like rubber on rubber, but it sounds like scraping to both my Dad and myself.
