Hey guy just stombled on your site looking for help here it goes. I just aquired this car the trans fluid was looking a little dark so i changed it yesterday to my supprise their were 2 drain pluges so I called a loca toyota dealer to ask about the differental drain. They stated both must be emptied and your year you only have to fill the trans and it will flow to the diff. Not seeing any other fill plug I did as instructed today I took it for a drive 25miles and a noise sounded like cv joints binding I crawled to the nearest autozone borowed some tools filled diff ect.. still gone. Can it be fixed ? or new trans ? also if new trans I herd I can put a 1.8L 4sp auto is this conversion simple? please help me even the dealers don't know Geo.
