1990 Prizm with 5-speed manual. The transmission is stuck in 2nd gear. I pulled the likage assembly from the trans and can move the c-shaped linkages inside the transmission and put the trans into other gears, but then it's in whichever gear I put it in AND 2nd. Is the transmission in need of replacement/overhaul or is there another way to get the trans out of 2nd and working correctly again without pulling/rebuilding the trans?
