Electrical problem

i have a brand new alternator and i have a brand new battery in the car my altenater is grounded correctely and my bettery to. my problem is that my altenator dont charge my battery and i just bough a new alternator and battery. im not sure what to look for?
can you please help me to find what could cause this problem.
