Hi, I bought a second hand car with the gearbox sump cracked. I later bought a new gearbox which was installed, but the once I put in in to drive it does not change gears and does not move, but when you put it in low drive and reverse it move perfectly. What could be the cause since the gearbox and housing is new?

Did you use Toyota fluid? If not the transmission will not work. Also, lets run the codes to see what comes up. Here are the transmission wiring diagrams to help you see how the system works and a guide to help us run the codes:

Make sure you check the EFI, EFI2, Stop, gauge and etcs fuses.
