I would like to thank you for your help and service. as i could not find the problem i decided to remove the transmission for the car. i then took it in to a transmission center who in turn explained the seals inside must have packed up. cost was a few thousand bucks (South Africa)but the time was the problem so i took it back home on further inspection i noticed the filling fluid nut had not been touched as i could see it was corroded and one could see it had not been opened for a long time. at this time i wondered how the mechanical workshop had filled with gearbox fluid as i was charged for five liters of fluid.i then realized they had put five liters of oil into the box by removing the gear shift. i turned box on its side and let the fluid run out and left it for some time to drip dry as i would put it. thereafter fitted it back in place managed to open side filler nut added half a pint to box and over was my trouble done over 200km and no fluid coming out gear lever at all.
