Gear wont shift from park to drive and reverse?

My car won't shift to drive and reverse from park. Sometimes it will shift when I cut the car off and on and try it again. The transmission fluid level is full. When it does actually change gears it drives for a short distance and then stops.It was working fine yesterday and just happen all of a sudden

Yep, this happens when the transmission torque converter fails apart internally. The transmission will need to be removed, here is how and a video to show how to change it out.
