Hi,
The Ecosport wasn't offered in the US until 2018, so my technical information is extremely limited. However, it sounds like the transmission linkage has come disconnected. Open the hood and locate the shift linkage on the transmission. Have a helper shift through the gears and see if anything is moving.
When I look up a 2018, they only offered the vehicle with an automatic transmission.
Let me know if you can see it move or if you notice where it could be disconnected or broken. If you can, take pics showing me what you are working with.
