Transmission not working properly

I went to leave and i put my car in reverse and took my foot off the brake and it rolled forward, i put it in park and the same thing happened when i took my foot off the brake. And when the car is off, we were able to roll the car ourselves by pushing it.

Hi,

One of two things has most likely happened. The first thing I would check is for a broken rear axle CV joint. I attached a pic below and highlighted what you are looking for.

There will be one on both sides. Check to see if one has come loose or has broken.
