My gas tank only fills up to three quarters of the way. I have to press it about 7 times (It stops every time) to get it to full.

Good morning,
There is air trapped at the top of the tank not allowing it to fill all the way.
The vent valve may be the issue as it is supposed to be open all the time so this issue does not happen.
It is part of the canister under the car above the rear axle. It is replaced as an assembly.
