Gas smell, code P0032

Hi, my vehicle smells like gas in traffic when the car slows down. there is check engine light showing error code P0032. there are no visible leaks no major drop in fuel level.

Hello,

This is a problem with your upstream O2 sensor telling your vehicle's Power-train Control Module(PCM) that your engine is running lean when it's not and the PCM is trying to compensate by adding more fuel. In the diagrams down below I have included the factory diagnostic troubleshooting guide for Direct Trouble Code(DTC) P0038. It will require you to use a digital multi-meter (DMM) and a test light. here are two links for you to go to explaining how to do it, if needed:
