Idles funny. Wants to like lung when at a stop sign or light, when brakes are applied.

Really? I've been all over under that car. Hood to back bumper. I just cannot see it or find it. O'Riley's said it wasn't in the tank, but I am not sure. Out of places visible to look is that middle passenger side?

Only thing I can think is it is between the gas tank and floor boards. Drop the tank to find it?

No, it is external and out in the open. It is a small can with 2 lines attached. Follow the lines from the tank.

Okay, I know what it looks like, i"'be followed the gas line from motor to tank runs under the par passenger side with two other lines . comes down from the motor strait under the body bends up and disappears over the top of the tank ... I see no filter .....

If there is none, then it is part of the fuel pump assembly.

Just to be sure, there is a charcoal canister at the tank on the drivers side. It shows in the picture I sent you that it is at or above it.
