Gas cap warning light on

This light is a little misleading. It means that you have a leak in the EVAP system and it could be the gas cap but since you replaced that it means something else is leaking. I attached the testing that we need to perform in order to figure out what needs to be done.

This EVAP system is there to take the fuel vapor and use it in the engine rather then venting it to the atmosphere so when the system is leaking either internally or externally it will turn this light on.
