Hello,

Can you elaborate on the issue you are having?
So the engine will start but you are unable to drive it?
Are you not able to put it in gear/drive?

Please let me know little more details.

So you can put in drive but it does not move?
When you go from part to drive can you hear or feel the transmission engaging?

So when you put it in drive you can feel the transmission engaging? Does it engage in reverse?

It sounds like you could have an issue with the transmission control solenoid. Also could be an issue with the torque converter. As it is not engaging when you put it in gear.
There is a transmission position sensor located on the transmission if it get disconnected or loose it can also prevent the vehicle from going into gear.

The VVT sensor is the variable valve timing sensor. Which is part of the engine management system.
Can you verify the engine size of your Nissan. You noted as a 4 cylinder. what model is it?
Xtera X trail?
I will take a deep dive after you verify the model and engine size.

Hello, it sounds like a cooling system issue. Since this is a new question, please open a new thread so that it can help the next person who could have the same issue.
Just go to this link:
