Funny noise after towing

Water pipe bust last night, warning light came on. I pulled off the road to get somebody to tow me to safer place. Pipe has been fixed, but now there is a funny noise under the car.
The car has a triptronic gearbox, what could be wrong?

How far did you tow it? have you check under the car for something you may have picked up on the road? can you describe the noise at all?
