Funny noise when first starting

My car is making a funny noise when I turn it on. at first I thought it was coming from under the hood. now it sounds like it’s coming from somewhere in the wheel maybe. I am not sure.

Hey TAYLA CASSIDY,

It sounds like the noise is coming from the auxiliary belt drive.

It could either be the belt itself or a bad bearing in a pulley or tensioner.

As you can tell the noise is louder on that side if you open the hood and look down the side of the engine you should see the auxiliary belt that drives the alternator and accessories.

There may be multiple belts.

I do not have the information for that particular vehicle.

With the belt removed you can then spin each item on the drive by hand and check for roughness and noise.
