Fuel Vapor Control Solinoid

Can you get a picture of this connector so that we can be sure we are talking about the same one?

Next I attached the process below and the info about how to remove the different types of connectors.

Please run through this material and let us know if you have other issues with it. However, if you still can't get it, a picture will help. Thanks

Please see attached pics. First one is clip installed 2nd is pic of clip that was removed. Third is pic of disconnect with clip remover.

It appears the other line is off and the blue clip is still installed. I think this one is the same way. That looks like a push lock so you put your thumb on the blue part and the line needs to come towards the solenoid first to take the pressure off the lock and then push the blue part in and the line should come off.

Just put the clip back in and see if you can get it released.

The line that is off is a Black Push In To Release Connector(that one comes off with no problem). The connector with the Blue clip installed is still connected to a line. Hard to get a clear shot of the connector (there are three connectors with blue clips in system). But if you look at picture (pic #2) of the blue clip---you will see a prong in the center of the clip that helps keep the connector from disengaging when installed ,so I believe that it can not be pushed in as the center prong would simply push against the solenoid's connecting pipe, but I will do so in the AM and see what happens. By the way I have watched several YouTube videos and they all show removing the clip and the line just comes right off. Also I have tried taking off two other connectors with the blue clips and none will disengage from the line. Don't want to pry to hard as they might break and then I would have to replace the whole line for the broken disconnect. Thanks

Okay. If that is the case then that blue clip is just a secondary lock. Meaning it is just something that locks the line in place but there is a primary clip that holds it on. I suspect it is on the other side of the line that you cannot see but you would squeeze that and the line will just pull off.

It is hard to tell on this picture but it looks like it is the gray portion that I circled. That appears to be a primary lock that would pull out and then you would push down on it to get it to pull off.

I will look for some videos as well.
