I seriously doubt any inspector would pass that. Just pick up a used plate at a junkyard.

Thanks for the help. I found a use one at a salvage yard is it possible to change the skid plate on my gas tank without taking the gas tank completely down or off? thanks

You do not have to take the tank down, but you will have to support it in place somehow once the skid plate is unbolted.

Hello again I can't seem to get my emergency brake to work on my 2004 grand jeep Cherokee larado with a 4.0 liter engine I put new shoes on and adjusted them up til they just let the rotor go on and the cables are hooked up to the actuator but the shoes still do not open up when I pull the handle for the emergency brake I am wondering is there some thing wrong with the actuator and if there is are there a way to free it up to get my shoes to open up THANKS

2004 grand jeep Cherokee with 4.0 liter engine emergency brake not working put new shoes on and adjusted them properly and cables are hooked to actuator on rear wheels but the shoes are not opening up against rotor to stop wheel could the actuator be bad if so is there a way of freeing it up so it will work-I am not sure just how the actuator works to open brake shoes up THANKS
