Fuel tank swap

Hi, can I use an old and emptied plastic fuel tank to replace the corroded metal one on my car? The plastic one was from a diesel and my car is petrol.

Hello, I am Danny.

Yes, you can use the plastic tank. Just be sure to clean all the diesel fuel out before running the gas through it. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
