Had injector replaced and the fuel return nozzle keeps popping out

This vehicle isn't offered in the US, but I will try my best to help.

I don't feel the injector has caused the issue. If it runs good, it is likely working properly. The idea that the return line is coming off leads me to think there is a problem with the connection.

Is it possible for you to take a pic of what you are dealing with and upload it for me to see?

One other thought. Even if the fuel injector wasn't working, it wouldn't cause the pressure to change.

It's the same engine as the VW Golf 1.6 tdi if that helps. I will take a picture and forward to you later on. The issue seems to be that the clip is not holding in the return fitting. I have replaced everything I can and that's why am thinking it's a issue with the injector itself as all the other injectors and return nozzle's are in place and secure.

It could be the injector is worn and causing the issue, but the connection should be able to hold the pressure regardless if the injector is working or not. You may be exactly right. The remanufactured injector may be the issue. Since you did purchase a new return hose and clip, that is the only thing that makes sense at this point. However, as I originally mentioned, I'm not familiar with your specific vehicle and its design.

I have learned that even though it is a VW engine, it's in a different vehicle and things get changed. So, if you have a chance, upload a couple pics so I can identify what you are dealing with. If I see something, I will certainly be happy to let you know.
