Yep, this ocde is telling you there is a bad connection @ #3 which usually means a bad fuel injector.
The code P0203 on your 2011 Ford Escape refers to an issue with the Fuel Injector Circuit/Open - Cylinder 3.
#3 is the last cylinder on the right side of the engine. Here is how to replace the fuel injector. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
