FUEL PUMP PUSHROD

I am converting back to OEM Mechanical pump and the PUSHROD has 1 bronze end. My question is which surface does the bronze side contact, the CAM or the PUMP ARM??

never seen one with a bronze end most are steel on both ends. make sure to lube with graphite grease on both ends put the bronze to the pump
