Car quit running Friday morning. Wouldn't start back up. Fuel pump has been replaced. Works now but the fuel pump will not shut off even with the keys out of ignition/car turned off .
Assuming whatever it is caused the old pump to burn up and it will do the same thing to this one if the problem isn't resolved.
Took fuse box off. No signs of burnt relay. Haven't tested it with meter yet. That's my next step.
But what else should I be looking at as far as why this is happening and how to get it to stop?

Hello thanks for using 2CarPros, you are on the right track. the fuel pump relay is probably stuck closed or there's a wiring issue. Try swapping the relay with another and see if the pump will stop. If it's not the relay, then there's a wire somewhere that's touching ground and keeping the relay hot. This shouldn't be too hard to solve. If needed we can get you the wiring diagram for that circuit. Let us know what else you find.
