Fuel pump not working

Fuel pump is not coming on and car will not crank.

Hello,

An inoperative fuel pump can be due to a faulty fuel pump relay, bad wiring or a defective pump.
First check the relay, it is located under the hood in the fuse box. I have attached diagrams below.
Look for any burnt pins or corrosion. You can also test the relay.

If the relay is good and you are getting power to the fuel pump, then the issue is likely a bad pump.

You mentioned that the vehicle won't crank. Usually when the engine is not turning over the primarily issue could be starter or battery problem. Typically, with a bad fuel pump the engine will crank but not start due to not getting any fuel.
