Where is the fuel pump located?

I am trying to find the location of the fuel pump in the gas tank. I am not up to dropping the gas tank so I plan on cutting through the floor or trunk to gain access. Thanks for any help y'all can offer.

hello,

Fuel pump is located at the center of the fuel tank, but it's better to remove the tank.
check the diagrams below location and the procedure how to remove tank and replace the pump.

Thank you so much for your answer. I would drop the tank but the old car has over 300,000 and everything underneath is pretty well welded and I'm not the man I once was. I appreciate the information. This is a great site. Peace.
