I was driving my LW200 model on the freeway with cruise control on when I needed to speed up to get in front of the car beside me so a fast car could pass. I stepped on the gas pedal but all that happened was the rpm's went up for a second or two and the car suddenly stopped responding to my foot on the accelerator. I turned off cruise control, while the car continued to struggle to stay at a speed, we were slowing down like I someone trying to get the car in gear in a manual transmission? That is the best way I can describe it. I managed to pulled over to the shoulder where it proceeded to struggle to stay on before it just quit running. When I tried to restart it, the car would just immediately shut off.
