Checked power to the module at fuse box and got 12 volts. Main power at module, Red wire with purple at module connector only has 1.4 volts. I cannot find a broken connection. Any ideas?

The first thing I would do is check the ground at the driver's door on the body frame mount. Also, here are the wiring diagrams for the fuel pump driver module so you can see how the system works. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Thanks for the wiring diagram, Ken! After testing wiring at module and at fuse box I found a drop in voltage on the red/violet wire between the FPPM fuse and halfway point to the rear FPCM. The voltage drops to 2 volts. Ran a jumper around the problem area and truck started right up. Now I need to find the damaged spot and repair. Ground wires checked out fine.
Thanks again for the information.

The break was in the square tube where the loom makes its turn under truck frame right under fuse panel on drivers side.

Truck won't start. Getting P018B and U18A2. Had an issue a few years ago very similar. I replaced the FPDM and fuel pump. Ended up taking it to Chevy and they fixed the issue(not sure of what they said they did). I'm now having the same issue. I was idling and the truck died and wont start again. I replaced the sensor fwd of the tank and the truck worked again for a day. Back to no start. The pump and control module have less than 20k on them so I'm pretty certain it's electrical. I made sure the ground below the driver door was good. I opened up the harness going to the control module and it looks like this. Im not sure if this is correct. I can't find any diagrams. The blue wire goes into some sort of splice and then comes out the other side with no shield. Is twisted around these 2 wires with this metal temp tape and it goes all the way fwd. There is another wire in the back that goes from grey to red to grey and back to red with 3 in line splices(doesn't seem right). The blue/exposed wire pins in 15 and the the two twisted that are wrapped in heat tape pin in 8 and 16. The third photo is further fwd. It looks as if it supposed to be like that because it doesn't look like anything is wrong at the point. The first two are 6-18 inches fwd of the FPDM. Any advice? Thank you in advance!
