code P0228c fuel pump

Fuel pressure low possible replace of pump car. goes into low power mode. what would be good replacement fuel pump since the factory unit fail at 37,000?

Hello,I'm Danny.

That code is more directly related to the throttle actuator control system. Your pedal assembly acts as a potentiometer. If it's defective/malfunctioning it will trip the code P0228 and put the car into limp mode like you're experiencing. I've attached a picture below and circled in the red the sensor connection.Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
