fuel pump low fuel pressure

I have low fuel pressure.

It is a mechanical fuel pump. Is it possible to add an electrical fuel pump along supply line?

That would be a very expensive proposition to get it regulated properly. Just find an repair the problem with your mechanical system. Make sure you do not have a rotted rubber hoses anywhere because it will make the pump pull air instead of fuel.
