Fuel pump

When I drive my car for a long period of time. Then instantly when I come to a stop light the car dies. Then I started back up it startles and putt, putt and I smell gas. So I let it sit for a bout 1 minute and then it runs smooth again....

try cleaning throttle plate on both sides and iac hole with choke cleaner if it continues check fuel pressure 41-47 psi

I got a diagnostic and they said it's the mass flow sensor... They said 282.00 dollars to fix it is it possible to do it myself...

yes that is the part between the air filter and engine, two clamps to remove it and unplug it. pic is what it looks like It may be in air cleaner this is for a 3.1L engine

I change it.... My car is still doing the same thing when I turn the car on and unplug the mass airflow sensor connector the car immediately shuts off and won't start.... I read in another post that if it does that than its not the mass airflow sensor it's something else...... Any help please

your check engine light will stay on until you pull the ecm fuse for 30 seconds to reset it make sure key is on. then try it and do what I said in first reply.

I pulled off the TPS sensor and the car stays started and stays idle the same...... I ran a code the old school way and it gave me code 66.........

code 66 a/c pressure sensor nothing to do with engine. what is fuel pressure?
