Fuel pressure regulator installation issue

Yes, you will need to remove it again. this time use some lube on the o-rings when installing. check them first to be sure there is no damage.

No, leaking is not normal at all.

Thanks. I actually put it back on and got no leak this time. I am trying to address the issue my car has with having a hard time starting when the engine is warm. If I have been driving for a while, turn off the engine and get back in the car not long after, the car will start but it will crank about three or four times. When car engine is cold, fires up right away. Most sources tell me there is either a fuel leak, air in the fuel system, bad fuel pump, or bad fuel pressure regulator. I will see if the new fuel pump regulator fixes the issue. What do you suggest?

I would start by checking the actual fuel pressure when it is hot to see if it is the pump.
