i want to change my fuel filter before i spend the money on a fuel pump, but i don't know where the fuel filter is located.

Hello,
On this vehicle the fuel filter is located in the fuel tank on the fuel pump. There are 2 filters for this vehicle, one attaches to the bottom of the pump and the second one is inside the pump.
In order to replace the filter you will have to replace the pump and that will require you to drop the fuel tank.
