Fuel filter location

Hi Fara,

You noted that this was a G5 with a 1.6L. This combination is not accurate. Is this a G3 with a 1.6L or a G5 with a 2.2L?

Either way, here is the procedure for the fuel filter replacement for both.

For the 1.6L it looks like the filter is just below the frame rail on the side that the fuel lines leave the gas tank and travel to the engine.

The 2.2L the filter is held in place by a single bolt.

The 2009 g3 wave filter location isn’t shown clearly in the diagram. The g5 filter is perfect. The g3 wave filter isn’t along the frame rail. A better picture is needed. I can’t find it anywhere.
