Fuel Filler Tube not allowing fuel in

The filler tube either has a block in it or there is a major backflow issue. I cannot fully engage any gas station fill handle without it clicking and stopping the flow of gas into my tank. It is so bad I have to pull the gas pump nozzle almost completely out and trickle fill it like an old gas can.
There is a TSB on this but I am looking for an easy solution since I don't have the resources to get it fixed at a dealer. Jeep still hasn't issued a recall on this.

Good morning,

The TSB says it is a lifetime warranty extension which means it is a warranty repair for the line. That is assuming it is the line itself.

There is also the vent solenoid which is part of the canister assembly. If it is stuck closed, no air can bleed off for the fuel and this will result.

The EVAP canister (1) is located under the vehicle next to the rear prop shaft. The ESIM switch (2) is attached to the EVAP canister.

1. Raise and support vehicle.

2. Clean dirt or debris from canister vacuum lines.

3. Disconnect electrical connector (4) at ESIM switch (2).

4. Disconnect rubber hose (1) from ESIM switch.

5. Disconnect fitting (3) at EVAP canister.

6. Remove two bolts (2) at front of canister mounting bracket (1).

7. Remove two bolts at rear of canister mounting bracket.

8. To separate EVAP canister (4) from mounting bracket (1), pry on lock-tab (2).

Fuel Spit Back During Refueling (X47 Lifetime Warranty Extension)

OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves replacing the fuel tube at the fuel tank. This new fuel tube has a check valve.

MODELS:

2007 - 2008 (JK) Wrangler

NOTE:
This Extended Warranty Bulletin applies to vehicles equipped with a 3.8L engine (sales code EGT) built before March 1, 2007 (MDH0301XX) and after March 31, 2008 (MDH 0331XX).

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Some customers may experience a fuel spit back condition during a refueling event.

DIAGNOSIS:
If the customer experiences the symptom/condition, proceed to the repair procedure.

PARTS REQUIRED:

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1.Open Hood.
2.Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable.
3.Remove fuel cap.
4.Hoist vehicle.

5.Cut the tie straps holding the recovery line to the fuel tube.
6.Remove the fuel tube and discard (Fig. 1).
7.Install the fuel tube (CNNNX321AC) and torque clamps to 3 Nm (30 in. lbs).
8.Tie strap (p/n 06016076) recovery line to fuel tube in two places (Fig. 1).

POLICY:
Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
