Fuel door button doesn't work?

Hello, sorry to hear about this issue, there is actually a Technical Service Bulletin(TSB) for this exact problem. It looks like the spring installed from the factory is not strong enough or must wear out quickly. I will post all the service info for the TSB, being a factory defect, they shouldnt charge you for the repair. There are some pictures as well, so you can see where the little latch is that catches the fuel door.

Here is all the info you should need for this TSB, Ive included the fuse that powers the Fuel Door Switch, as well as some wiring diagrams to show how the circuit works. It looks like the Trunk switch is also on that fuse, so I would check to see if the Trunk opens as well.
