Checked the fuse that shows under the hood in the fuse panel and it is fine. Looked up online and O'riely’s auto parts called for a wiper motor relay part #RY438. Bought it, brought it home and spent an entire evening looking for where it goes. It is a five prong relay and all the relays in the fuse/relay panel are 4 prong. My question is, if a parts store has a part for your vehicle there should be a place for it on the vehicle correct? If there is no wiper relay on a Jeep Wrangler Sport, what else could it be for the front wipers not to work? They just quit over night.

This is why we are not finding the wiper relay they are internal to the fuse box Chrysler has done this with all of the newer vehicles. You have to replace fuse block assembly.

This is common when the TIPM goes out. this is an easy replacement because the unit self initializes to the car. Here are the instructions on how to replace it in the diagrams below. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

Wow $709.00 for a TIPM? Just so the wipers work? Is there any hack around this? just yesterday my other daily driver had to be towed back home and I am looking at a huge repair bill on that one.

Not really because the TIPM controls many aspects of the wiper motor when to turn on, and off and the speeds. sorry about that. I would see if you could get a used one maybe? they go out all the time and the new ones have been upgraded.

Ken, thank you, I will have to see what I can do for a new one. I would be worried about a used one going out after I install it. You would think Chrysler would do the right thing knowing they turned out a ton of faulty crap and replace them at little to no cost. Sense it happens all the time. Last Chrysler/Jeep I will ever own that is for sure. The main computer went bad had to fork out $800.00 two years ago to change that out. Thank you for all your help.
